The Hilal to commence the month of Dhul Hijjah 1446 AH was looked for after the sunset on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. The Hilal WAS SIGHTED by CHC subcommittee members by ru'yah ammah throughout mainland USA.
The Central Hilal Committee of North America has accepted these report(s) and has declared Wednesday, May 28, 2025, the 1st day of Dhul Hijjah 1446 AH.
THUS:
Eid al Adha will be on Friday, June 6, 2025.
Important Dates:
Ayaam al Tashreeq: From after Fajr of Thursday, June 5 to after Asr of Monday, June 9.
Days of Qurbani: Friday, June 6 to Sunday, June 8.
