The Hilal to commence the month of Jumada al-Akhirah 1447 AH was looked for after the sunset on Friday, November 21, 2025. The Hilal WAS SIGHTED by CHC subcommittee members in Tampa, FL by a group of 20 individuals led by CHC representative Alim and Imam, Moulana Omar Nagi.
The Central Hilal Committee of North America has accepted these reports and has declared Saturday, November 22, 2025, the 1st day of Jumada al-Akhirah 1447 AH.
