The Hilal to commence the month of Jumada al-Thani 1444 AH was looked for after the sunset on Saturday, December 24, 2022. The Hilal WAS SIGHTED by CHC subcommittee members in multiple locations throughout the US, by ruyat ammah.
The Central Hilal Committee of North America has accepted these report(s) and has declared:
Sunday, December 25, 2022, the 1st day of Jumada al-Thani 1444 AH.
