The Hilal to commence the month of Muharram 1446 AH was looked for after the sunset on Saturday, July 6, 2024. The Hilal WAS SIGHTED by CHC Ulama subcommittee representatives in San Diego, California and Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Central Hilal Committee of North America has accepted these reports and has declared Sunday, July 7, 2024, the 1st day of Muharram 1446 AH.
