The Hilal to commence the month of Rajab 1443 AH was looked for after the sunset of Tuesday, February 1, 2022. Reports from all sub-committees of CHC, both local and regional, confirmed that the moon was NOT SIGHTED.
The Central Hilal Committee of North America has accepted these report(s) and has declared that the month of Jumada al Akhirah 1443 will complete its 30 days.
Thus, Thursday, February 3, 2022 will be the 1st day of Rajab 1443 AH.
