Ramadan 1440H
The crescent moon to commence the month of Ramadan 1440 H was looked for after the sunset of Sunday, May 5, 2019. Reports from sub Committees of CHC, both local and regional, have confirmed that the moon was SIGHTED in Atlanta and Chile.
The Central Hilal Committee of North America has accepted these report(s) and has declared that Monday, May 6, is the 1st of Ramadan 1440 H.
