The Hilal to commence the month of Ramadan 1441 AH was looked for after the sunset of Thursday, April 23, 2020. Reports from local committees of CHC confirmed that the moon was SIGHTED in San Diego, CA and Arizona.
The Central Hilal Committee of North America has accepted these report(s) and has declared:
Friday, April 24, 2020 will be the 1st day of Ramadan 1441 AH.
