Shaban 1440H Alert
The crescent moon to commence the month of Sha'bān 1440 AH was looked for after the sunset of Friday, April 5, 2019. Reports from all sub Committees of CHC, both local and regional, unanimously confirmed that the moon was NOT SIGHTED.
The Central Hilal Committee of North America has accepted these report(s) and has declared that the month of Rajab 1440 AH will complete its 30 days. Thus Sunday, April 7, 2019, will be the 1st day of Sha'bān 1440 AH.
