The Hilal to commence the month of Sha'ban 1442 AH was looked for after the sunset of Saturday, March 13, 2021. Reports from all sub-committees of CHC, both local and regional, unanimously confirmed that the moon was NOT SIGHTED.
The Central Hilal Committee of North America has accepted these report(s) and has declared that the month of Rajab 1442 will complete its 30 days. Thus,
Monday, March 15, 2021 will be the 1st day of Sha'ban 1442 AH.
Monday, March 29, 2021 will be Nisf Sha'ban 1442 AH.
