Zul Hijjah 1440H Alert
The crescent moon to commence the month of Zul Hijjah 1440 AH was looked for after the sunset of Thursday, August 1, 2019. Reports from all sub Committees of CHC, both local and regional, unanimously confirmed that the moon was SIGHTED in Irving Texas and many places in California.
The Central Hilal Committee of North America has accepted these report(s) and has declared: Friday, August 2, 2019, to be the 1st day of Zul Hijjah 1440 AH
Eid ul Adha will be on Sunday August 11th, 2019.
