Zul Hijjah 1442 AH Alert

Zul Hijjah/Eid al Adha 1442
The crescent moon to commence the month of Zul Hijjah 1442 AH was looked for after the sunset of Saturday, July 10, 2021. Reports from CHC local subcommittees confirmed that the moon was SIGHTED in San Diego by CHC members.
Thus, the Central Hilal Committee of North America has declared that the first of Zul Hijjah 1442 AH will be Sunday, July 11, 2021 and 
 
Eid al Adha will be on Tuesday, July 20, 2021.
 
Important Dates:
Days of Qurbani: Tuesday, July 20 to Thursday, July 22, 2021
Days of Reciting Takbeeraat al Tashreeq: From after Fajr of Monday, July 19 to after Asr of Friday, July 23, 2021
