The Hilal to commence the month of Zul Hijjah 1444 AH was looked for after the sunset on Sunday, June 18, 2023. The Hilal WAS SIGHTED by CHC subcommittee members in Plano, TX.
The Central Hilal Committee of North America has accepted these report(s) and has declared Monday, June 19, 2023, the 1st day of Zul Hijjah 1444 AH.
THUS:
Eid al Adha will be on Wednesday, June 28, 2023.
Important Dates:
Ayaam al Tashreeq: From after Fajr of Tuesday, June 27 to after Asr of Saturday, July 1.
Days of Qurbani: Wednesday, June 28 to Friday, June 30.
